Pleyel, Ignace Joseph - Six Duets, Op 8, B 538-543 For Two Violas Edited by Paasch Published by International Music Company

Ignace Pleyel, often known as Haydn's greatest student, was also one of the most prosperous classical composers.  He composed a great deal of music through his life, including a great deal of chamber music.  Characteristics reminiscent of Haydn are common in Pleyel's music, particularly in his small ensemble pieces.  His duets in particular are very popular for a variety of instrumental combinations, and are known for both parts being equally challenging.

Edited by Paasch, for Two Violas. Published by International Music Company.
