The Realist Copperhead Pickups are by David Gage & NS Design. The Copperhead rests between the bridge feet and the instrument top, which puts it exactly where the sound is transferred from the strings to the sound board. The result is rich, powerful response, both pizzicato and bowed. Its mounting hardware is extremely compact and with such a high output gain it requires no external preamp. The copper foil sandwich construction provides total shielding to eliminate hum from light fixtures and other electrical or radio interference.
