Preparing for Kreutzer Volume 2 follows much the same format as Volume 1.  It contains intermediate-level studies by de Beriot, Dancla, Schradieck, and others, compiled by Harvey Whistler.  The studies are broken down into four main sections: etudes in minor keys, selected studies on bowing technique, advanced etudes in double-stops, and concert caprices.  As in the first book, there are supplemental exercises for daily practice, and exercises inserted into each section reviewing concepts that the player is assumed to be familiar with.
